Implantable Devices

Precision Metal Components for Implantable Devices

Implantable devices are subject to a manufacturing standard with no practical equivalent in other industries. Components placed inside the human body must function without maintenance or replacement for years in a physiological environment that will degrade anything not correctly specified and manufactured. Regulatory documentation requirements are extensive, material qualifications are strict, and dimensional tolerances leave no margin for process drift across a production run.

Brunk has manufactured precision-stamped and laser-welded components for implantable device OEMs for decades, with an in-house tooling operation, exotic materials expertise, and an ISO 13485 certified quality system structured around this category of work. The qualifications required to operate in this supply chain are maintained through consistent production discipline on every run, because the standard implantable device OEMs require does not change based on order volume or schedule.

Cardiac Rhythm Management, Neuromodulation, Internal Electrical Contacts and Mechanisms

Precision-stamped and machined metal components for Class II and Class III implantable devices. Housings, contacts, clips, springs, structural frames. Parts with full traceability, validated processes, and documented change control from first article through production. Laser welding with proprietary fixtures built in-house for each program. For hermetic assemblies and sealed housings, the fixture design is the process. We build them ourselves.

Cardiac Rhythm Management

Brunk manufactures precision-stamped components for pacemakers, ICDs, and cardiac resynchronization therapy devices, including housing, header, and connector block hardware. Our titanium and stainless steel component capabilities meet the hermeticity and tolerance requirements these life-sustaining implants demand. We support OEMs from prototype through high-volume production.

Neuromodulation

Brunk manufactures precision-stamped components for spinal cord, deep brain, peripheral nerve, and sacral nerve stimulation systems. We produce housing, header, and lead-connector hardware to the tight tolerances hermetic sealing and long-term implant reliability require. Our capabilities span titanium and stainless steel components for both the pulse generator enclosure and the lead interface components.

Implantable Contact Assemblies

Brunk produces precision-stamped contact assemblies for implantable devices to the tight tolerances and material qualifications this application requires.

Materials

Stainless steel, titanium, MP35N, tantalum, niobium, red metals, and other biocompatible alloys suited to drug delivery applications.
