Brunk has supplied medical device OEMs since 1960 and holds ISO 13485 certification, the quality management standard specific to the design and manufacture of medical devices. With over one billion components shipped into this market, our core competency is precision light gauge metal components and assemblies: parts found inside surgical staplers, implantable neurostimulators, drug delivery systems, and minimally invasive surgical instruments. We work with a broad range of materials relevant to medical applications, including 300 and 400 series stainless steels, titanium, MP35N, tantalum, niobium, and other biocompatible and exotic alloys. 

The in-house tool room is the backbone. Sixty-plus journeyman toolmakers craft and maintain proprietary tooling built to Brunk's own standards. When a die needs adjustment, it gets adjusted. When a fixture needs to hold tighter, it holds tighter. This is not outsourced. It never has been.
