Job Function:
Recommend, plan, implement and coordinate a wide variety of Human Resource programs and policies, in accordance with legal and company guidelines. Provides support in functional areas of human resources including but not limited to recruitment and employment, personnel records, employee and/or labor relations, job evaluation, compensation management, benefits administration, organization development, training, and special projects. Act as the trusted advisor to Human Resources leader. Ensure positive, compliant work culture.
Responsibilities:

- Employee Relations & Culture: support Investigations, resolve conflicts, implement positive culture/appreciation programs.
- HR Operations: Administer employee benefits, manage payroll, time/attendance systems, & manage documentation using HRIS platforms.
- Labor Relations: support Human Resources leader on collective bargaining agreements, grievance processing.
- Assist in coordinating the recruitment process for open hourly or salary positions
- Assist in Conduct orientation and onboarding processes
- Thoroughly understand and accurately disseminate information on benefits programs/offerings
- Report writing, collecting and analyzing information; identifying trends; recommending courses of action
- Handle and document day to day employee relations issues
- Become SME regarding plant policies and procedures
- Work in a safe manner and perform other duties as assigned within HR function.

- Ability to work with various IT systems/applications including Plex, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Treat employee data with extreme confidentiality

Education:
Minimum educational requirements listed below may be substituted by relevant experience, learned competencies and/or certifications obtained throughout one’s career.
- 5 years of Human Resources. Preferably this experience will be in a manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or 5 + years of Human Resources work experience.
Work Environment:
- Business casual work environment. No special clothing required for office work
- Some occasional lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
- Must wear appropriate PPE in production areas
